Miss Monroe has always been a performer. From the early age of 3 she started tap dancing and has never looked back. She has never fit the mold and doesn’t intend to. At 5’2 she is a petite powerhouse that doesn’t limit herself or her students potential. Born in the Bay, formed in Brooklyn she currently lives in Denver, CO.

She received her BA in Musical Theatre from Chico State California in 2005 and has turned that into the art of story telling through Burlesque Dance. During her time in Chico she fell in love with Pilates as it helped heel her chronic pain and rehab a lot of her injuries. When she got the chance to get her Pilates Certification in 2008 she jumped at the chance. She currently has her Pilates Mat and Apparatus Certifications in reformer, Cadillac, chair and barrel as well as specialty certifications in various fields.

Even though her calling has always been to be on any stage of any kind, she has found her love in teaching others the art of movement and choreography with control.

She teaches privately out of her home both Pilates and Dance and is the current owner and artist director of The Rhinettes, a Denver based burlesque company.

Whether it be Health and Wellness,Pilates, Personal Training, Hip Hop or Burlesque she gives it her all and leaves nothing but sweat and compassion on the floor of all of her classes/performances.

“I want my students to learn something each class. If they don’t, I haven’t done my job as their movement guide. They should leave with my voice in their head and an empowerment that transcends into other areas of their lives. I’m compassionate about their journey and really do care about each and every person’s path. Pilates keeps me grounded and Burlesque helps me explore the art of the tease.

At the end of the day I am many things- teacher, creative, business owner and Burlesque Mom.
